What we collect and why
Newsletter sign ups. Your first name, last name and email address, so we can send you Top Tips and updates. We rely on your consent, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Enquiries. When you get in touch about keynotes, training or media, we collect your name, email, organisation and anything you tell us in your message, so we can reply and talk about working together. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to you, or on taking steps before a contract.
Community applications. The details you give on the application form, so we can review your application and send you onboarding emails. We rely on your consent.
Downloads and webinars. Your name and email when you sign up for a resource or event, so we can send it to you and follow up. We rely on your consent.
How you use the site. Cookies tell us which pages people visit and how they found us, so we can improve the site. See Cookies below.
Please don't share sensitive information, like health details, through our forms. If you do, we'll only use it to respond to you.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run the site and our emails. They only process your data on our instructions.
Squarespace: website hosting and forms
ActiveCampaign: email newsletters and contact management
Google Analytics: website statistics
Some pages embed content from YouTube and Spotify, which may set their own cookies when you play it. We may also share data where the law requires us to.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your data leaves the UK, it's protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Enquiries for up to two years after we last spoke, unless we work together, in which case we keep business records for as long as the law requires (usually six years). Analytics data for up to 14 months.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working and don't need your consent. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) only run if you accept them in our cookie banner. We don't use advertising or tracking pixels. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link or your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to see the data we hold on you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you or someone else. You can object to us using it, and you can stop marketing emails at any time. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like. Email hello@petravelzeboer.com and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
